I've partecipated to MMAR 2006 presenting the paper entitled "A Modular, Hierarchical, Reconfigurable Controller for Autonomous Robots". I've written this paper with Alessandro Saffiotti, head of the Mobile Robotics laboratory at the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) of Örebro University, Sweden.

In this paper, we present a robotic controller that satisfies three important desiderata for autonomous robots: modularity, hierarchical structure, reconfigurability. To illustrate the functioning of our controller, we show experiments run on both a simulator and a real robot.
